Srinagar, Mar 17: Police on Saturday said that they have seized around 160 illegally dumped domestic LPG gas cylinders from a possession of a man in Soura area of Srinagar.
An official said that the police received an information about an illegal storage of domestic gas cylinders in the residential area of Hassan-ul-Banant at 90 ft Road Soura near Masjid Muslim.
“On this information, a police party raided the said location and recovered 160 gas cylinders,” he said.
A case under FIR no 32 /2018 U/S 285 RPC r/w 23 Petroleum Act was registered in Police Station Soura and investigation was taken up.
