2-day training prog on MPLADS held at Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MARCH 15: A two-day training programme on MPLAD web portal (Member of Parliament Local Area Development) organized by    Planning, Development and Monitoring Department was held at IMPARD Srinagar today with the goal of imparting capacity building of the officers/officials to deliver in a better way for achieving the goals of development.

While inaugurating the training session, Regional Joint Director Planning, G.M Hajam, impressed upon the participants to feel free in clarifying any query from the officers of Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India and abreast themselves with the latest technology for monitoring and utilization of MPLADS funds.

While highlighting the objectives of the training programme, Regional Joint Director Planning said that Planning, Development and Monitoring Department is taking keen interest in imparting capacity building of the officers/officials to deliver in a better way for achieving the goals of development in J&K state.

In this direction, a two-day training programme regarding Operationalization of Integrated MPLADS Web-Portal will be instructed by visiting officer from Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India.

Dilip Singh, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Statistics Govt. of India, Shiv Balak Verma, Assistant   Deputy Director General, Ministry of Statistics Govt. of India, official/officer of different levels of different departments including NIC participated in the training programme.
