BARAMULLA, MARCH 14: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone today chaired a meeting to discuss the modalities for the inclusion of District Baramulla under the category of “aspirational Districts.”
The meeting was attended by DDC Baramulla Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash, JDP, SE R&B, CMO, DPO, and various other concerned.
The meeting was informed that the district requires coordinated efforts for overall development in almost all sectors for improvement in all indices of progress. All concerned departments were directed to prepare a vision document so that a planned growth is achieved within the time frame. The meeting took a comprehensive overview of almost all major programmes being run by various agencies and emphasized innovative, cost-effective, environment and people friendly inputs from all concerned.
Dr. Lone, who is also the Nodal officer for district Baramulla, took a comprehensive review of various ongoing developmental projects undertaken by different executing agencies. He directed the concerned to speed up the pace of work, besides adopting such measures to place the district at par with the rank 1 districts of the country.
