Srinagar, March 13: A 23-year-old MBA student from Kashmir died in a road mishap in Chandigarh on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching Srinagar-based news agency GNS that Zuhaib Manzoor son of Late Manzoor Ahmed, a resident of Qamarwari Srinagar who was pursuing MBA in CGC College Chandigarh was injured critically after a bike (JK01 AC 6191) he was riding was hit by a vehicle (Trolley) at Landran area.

Zuhaib was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.

Arif Aijaz, a friend of the deceased told GNS over the phone that he was told by hospital authorities Chandigarh that Zuhaib has died in an accident and his body is in the hospital.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sohana, Inspector Manjeet Singh said that he was hit by the trolley while crossing near a road divider.

We have informed his family, the body is lying in the mortuary, he said.
