Baramulla police solves burglary case

Srinagar, March 11: Baramulla police has solved a burglary case and has arrested two persons involved in the crime.

A police spokesman, in a statement issued here said that on 29th of January 2018, Police Station Uri received a written complaint from one person namely Mohammed Amin Mir son of Shahwali Mir resident of Banali Boniyar where in he stated that during intervening night of 18/19 of January 2018, some unknown burglars looted his mobile shop located in Uri market and took away mobile phones.

In this regard a case FIR number 05/2018 under section 457, 380 RPC was registered and investigation was set into motion.

During the course of investigation, a number of suspects were called for questioning. During questioning two persons namely Sajad Ahmad and Shakoor Ahmad, residents of Garkote Uri confessed their crime and on their instance stolen property was recovered.
