Low-danger avalanche warning issued
Srinagar, Mar 9: Low-danager avalanche warning was issued for several areas of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
The warning, according to SASE, has been issued for Baramulla, Gulmarg, Furkian-Z Gali and Kupwara-Chowkibal-Tangdhar, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar Udhampur, Anantnag, Kulgam, Budgam, Kupwara,Bandipora, Ganderbal Kargil and Leh Districts, Bandipora-Kanzalwan-Gurez sector and Srinagar-Jammu Highway.
People living in these avalanche-prone areas have been advised by the Disaster Management Authority to take precautionary measures, said an official spokesman.
