Bus driver dies, conductor injured in Uri

Baramulla, Mar 06: A 45-year-old  bus driver was killed in a road mishap at Bihari Mode Isham in frontier area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Witnesses said that a bus (JK05A-6137) on way to Lalpull  (Red Bridge)  from Isham village rolled down into the deep gorge at Bihari Mode Isham when driver lost control on wheels.

The driver of the bus Bashir Ahmed, son of Mohammad Rajab, resident of  Baramulla, died on the spot while as the conductor Farooq Ahmed, resident of Nambla Uri, received  serious injuries and was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla.
