Rajouri, Mar 04: The body of 33-year-old man was found hanging from a tree at Khadariyan village in Rajouri district’s Kalakote area.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Majeed, son of Muhammad Bashir, resident of Khadarian Kalakote.
A witness said the incident was reported to local police, who rushed to the spot and took over the body.
Later, a post mortem was conducted and body was handed over to family for last rites.
A case has been registered and the investigation has started, police said.
