Srinagar: A team of journalists from Kashmir departed for media tour organised by Press Information Bureau (PIB) Srinagar to Bangalore today.
The purpose of the tour is to acquaint the journalists with implementation of various flagship programmes and development initiatives of the Central Government.
The team comprises 12 journalists associated with various media associations of Kashmir.
The journalists will visit various institutes of excellence including Indian Space Research Organisation, Indian Council of Horticultural Research, Institute of Wood Science and Technology and National Aerospace Laboratories among others during the seven day tour.
