Bandipora, Sep 13: Four days after a youth went missing in Bandipora, his body was found near Walur Lake in the district.
Sources identified the deceased as Abdul Hamid of Quil Muqam, who has gone missing from his home four days ago.
“Locals spotted the body of 28-year-old Hamid near Walur Lake and immediately informed the police about it,” a local resident said.
The body was taken to nearby hospital for autopsy and after completion of legal formalities handed over to family for last rites.
Police has already registered case in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
