JKYF calls upon younger generation to associate with voluntary humanitarian work

Srinagar: The speakers at three awareness programmes on “Social Service & Its Importance” organized by J&K Yateem Foundation in collaboration with DIET Kupwara, B.Ed College Kupwara & Gulzar Memorial B.Ed College Nowpora Sopore Baramulla urged cross section of people to inculcate sense of understanding and feeling about the sufferings of poor, needy and underprivileged sections of society.

They emphasized the need to join hands to take forward the voluntary cause of welfare and rehabilitation of orphans, widows & destitute in Kashmir and other parts of the State of Jammu & Kashmir.

Nusrat Haider, Principal B.Ed College Kupwara in her speech threw light on importance of associating with the cause of humanitarian work to mitigate sufferings of needy. She also urged younger generation to voluntarily associate themselves with the social service cause to contribute their part towards social rebuilding process.

Mohammad Yaseen Mir, Principal DIET Kupwara expressed satisfaction to be part of such awareness programmes highlighting the noble cause.

Javaid Ahmad Lone, Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Rohama Baramulla talked about the social challenge posed by the continuing plight and sufferings of poor & destitute. He stressed the need to encourage and invite cross section of society to become voluntary partners in taking forward the great humanitarian cause.

JKYF’s film “Together with Orphans, Widows & Destitute” and “Taran-I-Baitul Hilal” (Baitul Hilal Orphanage Anthem) were presented and screened at Gulzar Memorial College, Nowpora Sopore Baramulla.
