Srinagar, 24 July 2019: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference general secretary Haji Ali Muhammad has urged the divisional administration to ensure all basic and effective amenities to devotees on the Urs of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ameen Mantaqi Owaisi (RA).
In a statement issued here, Sagar said that Mantaqi sahib (RA) was Known for his God consciousness. “Hazrat Mantaqi (RA) was a great polymath of his times. Our state has always been a cradle of Sufism; it is men like these who have shaped the socio- cultural milieu of our state. Sufism is a mystical form of Islam, a school of practice that emphasises the inward search for god and shuns materialism. Sufisism has remained a mainstay of the social order of our state since it spread over here. The need of the hours calls for imbuing our lives with the teachings of such great men,” he said.
Sagar urged the administration to ensure electricity and water supply to the devotees on the urs days which are to be observed on 29th and 30th of Zil qadh.
