IGNOU Sports Day: Gulnawaz wreaks havoc as IGNOU Victorious beat IGNOU Reds

Srinagar, July 20: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Saturday Celebrated the sports day at its Regional Centre Raj Bagh Srinagar.

On the occasion, a cricket match was organized which was played between IGNOU Reds and IGNOU Victorious.

IGNOU Reds won the toss and choose to bat first.  The team put a decent total of 145 runs on the board in allotted 10 overs. With 50 runs, Showkat Ahmed Mir was the highest scorer for his team IGNOU Reds.

In reply, with the help of Gulnawaz’s quick fire 103 runs in 27 balls, IGNOU Victorious did the impossible as the team achieved the mammoth target of 145 runs in the allotted 10 overs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Gulnawaz was declared Man of the match.
