Srinagar: In the ongoing State Annual League Football tournament two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground on Friday.
The Ist Match of Super Div. was played between Young Iqbal FC and Jehlum Sports. Both teams played well but could not score. The match ended in a draw.
Second match of Premier Division was played between Real Kashmir FC (RKFC) and Food & Supplies XI (F&S). Both the teams started with a good note, dribbling short passing and creating gaps. It was in 13th minute of the first half that RKFC made a good move penetrating the defence of F&S XI and Suhail made no mistake in scoring the first goal, first half score was 1:0 in favour of RKFC.
RKFC boys dominated the show in the 2nd half of the match and disturbed the defence line of F&S XI Club completely. F&S XI was a helpless lot and could not stop the young players of RKFC from scoring. RKFC scored four goals in second half.
The scorers were Shahid two Goals, while Aamir and Naish one goal each. The match ended with RKFC defeated F&S XI by five goals to Nil.
The tournament is organized by District Football Association Srinagar.
