Srinagar, Jul 09: On the 9th day of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, 9,541 pilgrims paid obeisance at the cave shrine. Till date 1,21,196 pilgrims have had the ‘darshan’ at the Cave, officials said.
They also informed that two critically ill pilgrims were also evacuated by helicopter today from Panjtarni. One pilgrim, Radha Devi was brought to the Baltal Base Hospital and another Ramesh Kakde was shifted to the SKIMS, Srinagar for specialized treatment.
In all nine critically sick pilgrims have been air evacuated by the Shrine Board for immediate specialized treatment, officials said.
