DLTFC Kargil clears 711 loan cases

KARGIL, JULY 03: District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) Kargil in its meeting held today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary today cleared 711 loan cases in different sectors under Prime Ministers Employment Generation Program (PMEGP).

The meeting was attended by General Manager District Industries Centre (DIC), Kargil Haji Muhammad Baqir, Cluster Head J&K Bank Muhammad Salim, District Lead Bank Manager Tsewang Dorjay, District Officer KVIB Kargil Ghulam Hadi, District Coordinator KVIC Kargil besides other concerned officers.

788 cases were placed before the committee which included 436 cases pertaining to KVIC, 226 from DIC and 126 from KVIB.

Out of these cases, the committee approved 711 cases in total out of which 205 cases were from DIC, 122 from KVIB and 384 cases were from KVIC.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also chaired an awareness camp on PMEGP scheme which was organised by Production cum Marketing Training Centre (PMTC) KVIC Pampore.

During the awareness program, the District Coordinator KVIC enlightened the participants about different types of loans available under PMEGP for the unemployed youth in manufacturing, services, trading and allied sectors.

He also informed the DC Kargil about 100 days action plan of KVIC under PMEGP.

Addressing the participants, the DC urged the participants to apply for loans under relevant sectors in the district like apricot and milk processing, carpentry, cement brick making, woollen knitting, readymade garment stores, restaurants, automobile repairing, documentation centres etc.

He also emphasised that commitment, hard work and persistence are the key factors for achieving success in business and exhorted upon the prospective entrepreneurs to strive hard to imbibe these traits.
