Srinagar: Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani was on Friday morning disallowed to reach Kashmir University to participate in an Urdu Book Fair event.
Reports said that a posse of forces present outside the Geelani’s residence didn’t allow him to move outside.
The octogenarian leader was invited by the students of the university of Kashmir and he was scheduled to deliver a lecture on the Urdu language at 11:00 am this morning.(KNS)
