Srinagar, Jun 17: A seventeen-year-old girl committed suicide in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
A resident of Ramwari Gund area of Ganderbal district, the teenage girl consumed some poisonous substance at her home. Soon after the incident, she was rushed to Primary Health Center (PHC) Gund, wherefrom she was referred to SKIMS Soura.
However, doctors at SKIMS declared her as brought dead.
The reason for the suicide was not immediately known even as police have registered a case and investigations have been taken up.
