Poonch, Jun 16: Two girls were among three persons injured during the exchange of fire between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control in Poonch sector Sunday evening.
The firing started at about 07.30 PM in Bandi Chechian, Karmara, Kerni areas of Poonch sector on LoC. “All the three injured have been taken to hospital for treatment,” the local news gathering agency KNO quoted sources as saying.
It quoted Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav saying that the injured civilians are out of danger.
