ANANTNAG, MARCH 16: The District Development Commissioner Anantnag Mohammad Younis Malik today convened a meeting of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department to take stock of the supplies, and functioning of the point of sale (PoS) machines at all sale outlets of the district.
The DDC was apprised that 30210 quintals of rice and 1893 quintals of sugar, besides other essentials are available in the district.
He stressed upon concerned to ensure the proper functioning of the 494 PoS machines at all sale outlets within a week’s time for fair distribution of food grains.
The meeting among others was attended by Assistant Director FCS&CA Anantnag and all the Tehsil Supply Officers of the district.
