Ganderbal, June 01: Cricket Association Ganderbal elected its executive body as the elections for the same were conducted here on Saturday.
Sayim Mustafa was elected as President of the association .He got 43 votes and defeated his opponent Nissar Ahmad bhat with a close margin of just 3 votes.
Danish Muzaffar was elected as Vice- president, Irfan Qayoom as secretary, Irfan Ganie as General Secretary and Showkat Baba was elected as Treasurer.
80 teams from all over the district participated in the election. The election was conducted as per the constitution of BCCI.
The elected president Sayim Mustafa expressed jubilation over the win and vowed to work tirelessly for development and promotion of cricket in Ganderbal.
