KPBB ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Delhi, May 26: KP Blood Bank (KPBB) organized a blood donation camp on Sunday at Armed Forces Transfusion Centre, Delhi Cantonment.

In a statement issued here, the volunteer organisation said: “The blood camp was a tribute to brave Martyrs as this was first blood donation camp in Delhi and 4th across globe in past 10 months.”

“Large number of volunteers thronged the venue and donated blood for needy ones. Among others the blood was donated by Wing Commander Ashok Raina and Colonel Sandeep Bhat who appreciated KPBB for doing such a noble service towards Mankind,” reads the statement.

“Initiator and founder of KPBB Ashwani Sadhu appraised the gathering of the latest information and un known facts relating to blood requirements. He emphasized on the KPBB volunteer team that they are saving lives regardless of caste, creed, religion and helping anyone with open arms .He further liked to appreciate the zeal and enthusiasm of voluntary blood donors, who are now well spread, across globe and are participating in such noble cause whole heartedly at their respective places and total donations as on date from KPBB is 350 in number,” the statement said.

“Sadhu appealed the young generation to come forward and join us at KPBB as still the journey starts and we have to move beyond expectations of public,” it said.

“KPBB will also complete one year of journey in July month which will be celebrated at Srinagar which the venue will be finalized shortly,” it added.
