Tangmarg, May 23: A laborer was killed after being struck by lightning on Thursday.
According to reports, Bashir Ahmad Khatana, 30, S/o Saif-u-din Khatana, a resident of Mahyan Tangmarg was struck by lightning at Khilanmarg Gulmarg resulting in his on the spot death.
Khatana is survived by wife and three children.
Meanwhile, Tourist Guide Association has appealed the Governor administration to provide compensation to the deceased’s family.
