Srinagar, May 22: Jammu Kashmir National Front (JKNF) has paid rich and glowing tributes to professor Waheed of Chandilora Tangmarg on his death anniversary.
In a statement issued, a JKNF spokesman said: “The party remembers all martyrs of Tangmarg and pledges to safeguard the mission of martyrs.”
The spokesman further said: “The incarcerated party chairman, Nayeem Khan had a great regard for Shaheed Waheed and he always used to call him as a man of exceptional intellect.”
“Great sacrifices of martyrs are the real assets of the resistance movement which will be protected at any cost. He said that the living nations do not forget their martyrs who sacrifice their lives in the way of freedom,” the spokesman said.
“While paying rich tributes to Shaheed professor Waheed, the spokesman said that he was a great scholar and intellectual who instead of choosing luxuries sacrificed his life for a great cause,” the spokesman added.
