F C Revenue reviews digitization process of land records

SRINAGAR, MAY 14: Financial Commissioner Revenue, Dr Pawan Kotwal today chaired a meeting to review scanning and digitization process going on under Digital India Land Record Modernization Programme (DILRMP) at Revenue Training Institute, Bemina, Srinagar.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner, Survey and Land Records, G M Dar, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhry, Regional Director, Survey and Land Records Srinagar, Tassaduq Hussain and other officers.

Dr Kotwal emphasized upon the officers to speed up work to complete the process of scanning and digitization of land records within the stipulated time. He stressed upon the officers to simultaneously conduct the quality check of the scanned documents.

F C was informed that 1.4 crore documents, 27000 Massavies and 35 Jamabandies of Srinagar have been digitized so for.

Financial Commissioner Revenue was informed that 15 scanning machines are in work and the staff is working in the double shift. FC directed DILRMP project officer to add five more scanning machinery to complete the digitization within the timeframe.

FC also inspected the Central Record Room and met the staff working on the project of digitization. He appreciated officers for their dedication and hard work.
