District achieves target of 124% of the District Credit Plan

Budgam, 13th May:  The 66th/67th District Level Review Committee Meeting of District Budgam was held at Conference Hall DC Office Budgam under the Chairpersonship of District  Development Commissioner Budgam Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar.

The meeting was convened by the convener Lead District Manager Aijaz Ahmad .The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Rafiq Ahmad, representatives from Cluster Office J& K Bank Budgam, Director RSETI, Budgam Tahira Parveen and DDM Nabard, Junaid Hakeem.

While welcoming all the heads of line departments, Block Development officers, District Coordinators of various Banks of the District, Lead District Manager Budgam Aijaz Ahmad presented the performance of all other banks and line departments of the district for financial year 2018-19. The highlight of the meeting  was that the district Budgam is the only district in J&K state who has not only achieved but surpassed the set targets under Annual Credit Plan 2018-19. He appreciated all the banks and sponsoring agencies for the same.

Lead District Manager while deliberating about the performance of the district said that an achievement of   85.21 %  in CD Ratio was registered which is among the best ratios of the J&K State.  A total of Rs 1261.03 crores have been disbursed during the financial year 2018-2019 which is  124% of advances in  Annual credit plan of the district  . He also revealed that the deposits of the district stands at 2716.28 crores  as against the Rs 2213.77 crores of corresponding March quarter of  2018,thus recording a growth of  22.70%. The advances of the district stands at 2314.67 cr as against the advances of Rs.1824.92 crores of corresponding  March quarter of 2018.Thus recording the growth of 26.84 % in advances yoy.

Lead District Manager also informed the house that the banks, Rural self Employment training institute (RSETI)  and financial literacy council under the adieu of lead district office Budgam have conducted  441 awareness camps for the financial year 2018-19.

The chairperson DLRC/DCC Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar congratulated the banks and the line departments  for achieving 106% of  target in priority sector for the district Budgam. She directed the departments to work for inclusive growth in all schemes.

Lead District Manager Budgam assured the chairperson Dr.  Syed Sehrish Asgar that every sphere and segment of population and business activity will be taken care of with a better systematic and prompt approach.
