Jammu: In a condolence message Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha expressed grief on the passing away of senior Gujjar leader of Poonch, Ch. Bashir Naaz and said that Naaz was a popular leader and served as a Legislator in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
A prominent figure of Gujjar Community, he also served as Vice Chairman of Gujjar Bakerwal Board. His demise has created a vacuum which will be difficult to fill, said Azad in a statement issued today.
He expended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace.
