Reasi, May 13: Video and photographs have surfaced, showing mass copying by students of 10th class in Bi-annual Science paper which was held on May 11 in Mahore area of Reasi district of Jammu.
In the video, the youth in scattered groups are seen helping the examinees with the chits from outside the examination centre.
Locals of the area also approached the CEO with a written complaint against the staff including Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent for allowing mass copying in centre number 5903 of High School Jamaslan area of Mahore.
The locals alleged that the staff was allowing the mass copying in the exams every year against hefty bribes.
A video and pictures in possession with GNS shows the staff on exam duty supplying examination related material to nearly 30 candidates.
In the video it has also been witnessed that the students were given examination related material from windows and mostly providing the copying materials to girl candidates.
The locals alleged that these officials are every year coming for conduct of exams in Jamaslan High School to get bribes from innocent people.
The locals said that besides CEO they have also informed Board authority Mahore in this regard.
They said the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent manage to get the same charge every year from last five years at High School Jamaslan.
The locals of the area urged Governor-led administration to look into it and take strict action against the staff involved in the mass copying practice.
When contacted Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi Nirmal K Choudhary told GNS that the issue has been brought into his notice and stern action against those involved in the incident will be taken.
“I have ordered an inquiry and who so ever involved in the incident would be dealt sternly as per law,” CEO said. (GNS)
