Sources in the school said that locals are also supporting the said teacher who, according to them, used to teach the students of 7th and 8th standard, but owing to some internal crises, the teacher is currently on a “protest leave”.

“We have not been taught the mathematics class since Amaan sir went on a leave,” said a protesting student.

“Everyone is aware about the crises at our school but the education department has failed to resolve it,” the student added.

Villagers who spoke to Kashmir Images said that they want major reshuffle in the school to save the future of their children.

When contacted Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Fahmeeda, said: “I have already called Amaan and other teachers of the school to my office so that we can resolve the issue.”
