KARACHI: The Ramzan moon was not sighted in India and Pakistan on Sunday, hence first Roza will be on Tuesday (07th May).
However, in Saudi Arabia and UAE, Monday (06 May) will be the first day of fasting.
A spokesperson of Delhi’s Jama Masjid said the moon was not sighted Sunday night and hence fasting will begin from May 7.
Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar when Muslims abstain from food and water from sunrise to sunset.
