Srinagar, May 03: A 65-year-old woman died when a truck hit her at Model Town in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Noora Begum, wife of Abdul Ahad Dar.
Reports said Noora Begum was rushed to SDH Sopore where she was declared dead on arrival.
The truck driver fled from the spot, reports said.
Police said a case has been registered in this regard and investigation taken up.
