Rayan Fighters defeat Baba Eleven Rawalpora by 5 runs, PCC win by 6 wickets

Sopore, April 28: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), two matches were played on Sunday. In the first match of the day, Riyan Fighters faced Baba Eleven Rawalpora and PCC Pattan faced Baba Darya-u-din Cricket Club in the second match of the day.

After winning the toss, Riyan Fighters opted to bat first and set a target of 155 runs for the Baba Eleven Rawalpora. Javid made 39 runs, while as Fazil and Junaid contribute 24 and 27 runs respectively.

For Rawalpora, Umer took 3 wickets, while as Zahid took 2 wickets.

In reply, Baba Eleven lost the match by 5 runs. Zahid made 58 runs and Ajaz made 21 runs for the said team.

Junaid was declared Man of the Match for his all-rounder performance.

Meanwhile, after winning the toss Baba Darya-u-din Cricket Club were bundled-out for 102 runs. Mohammad Amir made 24 runs and Feroz made 24 runs.

For PCC Pattan, Dharin took 3 wickets, while as Ayaz and Irfan took 2 wickets each

In reply, PCC Pattan comfortably chased down the target of 103 for the loss of 4 Wickets in the 16th over of the inning. Skipper Mudasir made 27 runs and Firdous made 35 runs.

Dharin was declared Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling spell as he scalped 3 crucial wickets.
