DC chairs PNC meeting at Baramulla

BARAMULLA, MARCH 12: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla (DC) Nasir Ahmad Naqash today chaired a Private Negotiations Committee (PNC) meeting to finalize cases of land acquisition under private negotiation and compulsory acquisition for various developmental projects.

The meeting was convened for fixing the rates of land in various areas of the district required for different projects as per Land Acquisition Act.

Total 15 cases were taken up during the meeting which includedland acquisition case related to the widening of Hygam Tarzoo road, under PMGSY from Takiyousuf Shah to Dudbugh, a Transmission line from Magam Grid Station to Nowlari, and Tower for 400 KV Wagoora. 13 cases were settled on the spot by the committee.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bashir Ahmad Bhat, SDM Gulmarg Aziz Ahmad Rather, Tehsildar Maeen Kakroo. Besides officers of concerned departments, landowners of concerned villages were present in the meeting.
