Shopian: A youth was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Kachdoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday afternoon.
According to local reports, the youth was shot at near Jamia Masjid Kachdoora.
SSP Shopian confirmed the incident and said that militants have killed one civilian namely Tanveer Ahmed Dar son of Mohammad Abdullah Dar, a resident of Bemnipora.
“Dar was 24 years old and his dead body has been found in Kachdoora. A case has been registered and investigation started,” he added.
