Srinagar: Three Central Reserve Police Force Personnel were killed in a fratricide incident at a CRPF Battalion at Udhampur today.

The CRPF man himself was wounded critically, sources said.

Sources said that one CRPF man, CT/GD Ajit Kumar of 187 battalion shot dead his three colleagues around 10 PM Wednesday night.

He also later shot himself from his service rifle. However, no details were available when reports last came in.

The deceased were identified as HC/GD Pokarmair of Rajasthan; HC/GD Yogender  Sharma of Mujpur, Delhi and: HC/GD Umeed Singh of Rewari, Haryana.

The CRPF man who resorted to firing has been identified as CT/GD Ajit Kumar of Kanpur, UP. He is reported to be in critical condition.
