Pulwama: A cleric was arrested in Dangarpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district during a night raid.
A police official confirmed and said Mohammad Amin Shah was detained from his residence during last night.
“Maulana Mohammad Amin Shah, is the chief cleric and Khateeb Khankah-e-Mir Sahab Masjid at Washbugh locality of Pulwama and he used to lead Friday congregational prayers at same mosque” said locals of the Washbugh.
Locals of the Pulwama town have condemned the arrest of cleric and demanded his immediate release.
