GM NHIDCL, several deputations meet Sharma

JAMMU, MARCH 14: General Manager, National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), MG Vijay Kumar today called on Advisor to the Governor, KK Sharma and presented a detailed status report of the projects undertaken by the corporation in the state.

Briefing the Advisor about the status of ongoing Jammu-Akhnoor four laning project, the GM said that the work is being fast paced so that the project gets completed within the stipulated time frame. He also briefed the Advisor about Simthanpass- Anantnag – Khanabal road, Batote-Kishtwar-Chatroo- Sinthan top road, Chenani – Sudhmahadev section of NH-244 road projects being undertaken by the corporation.

The Advisor directed for early completion of these projects aimed to   increase the connectivity of different regions of the State besides providing alternative routes. He said that the corporation should ensure their completion within the stipulated timelines and hold regular meetings with the connected government departments and executing agencies to remove bottle necks if any.

Later, the Advisor also met deputations from different parts of the state who had come for redresseal of their grievances related to PHE, PDD, Housing and R&B.

The Advisor assured them early redressal of the problems by   concerned departments.
