Sopore, March 13: The first phase of orientation cum training programme for Haj pilgrims 2019 was organized by J&K State Haj Committee at Dak Bunglow Sopore here today.
439 aspiring Hajis participated in the training imparted by the experts from Haj committee; besides, resource persons from the district were also present during the orientation session.
On the occasion Senior Hajj Trainer, Mohammad Sultan Hajam and Syed Ikhlaq Geelani congratulated the prospective Hajis and assured them all support from the district administration in order to make their pilgrimage smooth and hassle free.
During the orientation session, lectures were delivered by various Hajj committee designated trainers on Mansik-e-Haj, Umarh and Ziarat-e-Madina Munawara, besides giving other important instructions.
Meanwhile, special refreshments were distributed among the Hajis by the state Haj committee officials.
