“There is a need to elect credible representatives in the coming Parliament and Assembly elections and that workers from other parties joining PC is a clear indication that PC is the only viable alternative to take the state towards peace and prosperity”, he added.

Accusing the NC & PDP leadership of hypocrisy, Abdul Gani Vakil warned the people of political nepotism, exploitation, corruption and double-speak of NC & PDP.

“When they are out of power, they promise autonomy and self rule but while in power, they conveniently forget their promises and election rhetoric. They have been exploiting the emotions and sentiments of people for the last 7 decades. Now it’s time for people to teach them a lesson in the upcoming polls.”

Abdul Gani Vakil also said that dynasty rule is the root cause of all the ills and the people must rid the state of this plague. “Abdullahs and Muftis are responsible for this unending cycle of violence and injustice”, adding that NC and PDP can go to any extent in order to protect dynasty rule which became clear when they enacted a drama of allying together to stop Sajad Gani Lone from becoming the Chief Minister of J&K.

On the occasion senior leader Khurshid Khan also addressed the convention.
