Srinagar, Mar 08: A complete shutdown called by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the detention of JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik under PSA and his shifting to Kot Balwal jail Jammu hit normal life on Friday across Kashmir.
While shops and business establishments are shut across Kashmir the passenger traffic is off the roads. Streets in Srinagar and major towns of Kashmir valley wore a deserted look and heavy contingents of police and paramilitaries are keeping vigil in sensitive areas of Srinagar city and major towns of Kashmir valley.
As already reported JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik was Thursday this week shifted to Kot Balwal jail Jammu after authorities slapped PSA on him. (KNS)
