Following medical checkup, Malik sent back to jail

Malik arrested ahead of death anniversaries of Guru, Butt

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is lodged at Srinagar’s Central Jail, was today taken to Khybar hospital for medical checkups.

A JKLF spokesman in a statement said that Malik was arrested on 05 March 2018 when he was protesting against Shopian killings and was shifted to Central Jail.

The spokesman said that after the medical checkups, Malik was shifted back to the jail.

Meanwhile, the spokesman said that JKLF has paid rich tributes to Farooq Ahmad of Sopore on his anniversary.
