Jammu, February 26: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh today sanctioned meritorious scholarship in favour of police wards for securing above 80% marks in class 12th during the academic session 2018.
Rs. 7200/- each has been sanctioned to four meritorious wards for securing above 90% marks and Rs. 6000/- thousands each has been sanctioned in favour of twelve police wards for securing above 80% marks in class 12th. The scholarship has been granted out of Central Police Welfare Fund.
Police Headquarters has been sanctioning scholarships and rewards for wards of martyred and serving Police personnel under different schemes to boost their morale.
