Day 3: Delhi, Chandigarh emerge winners

Katra, Feb 13: The 73rd Santosh Trophy for North Zone is presently underway at the sports complex Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Sports Complex Katra.

Today’s first match played between Delhi and J&K ended in favour of Delhi. Tushar Chaudhary scored first goal for Delhi and the host team conceded the 2nd self goal and thereby Delhi taking the lead in points table with 6 points.

In 2nd match, Chandigarh won against Uttrakhand by 4:1goals. Amit Kumar scored two goals while Ravinder Singh & Gaurav Negi scored one goal each for Chandigarh and Chirag Negi scored lone goal from Uttrakhand team.

The Championship is being organized by J&K Football Association under the aegis of AlFF in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council and is being supported by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board & J&K Bank LTD.
