Sopore: Government forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir Sopore Village.
According to reports , a joint team of forces comprising Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF started door to door searches in Thak-Gund village.
An official told Kashmir Images that operation was launched after receiving inputs about the presence of militants are hiding in the village.
However, door to door searches in the area were being conducted when last report came in.
