Srinagar: Ghulam Hassan Zahid, younger brother of columnist and writer Z. G Mohammad breathed his last on the intervening night of 4th and 5th of February due to massive cardiac arrest.

A large number of people from cross section of the society attended his Nimazi Jenaza on Tuesday.

The deceased had retired from services in J&K Bank as Executive Manager.

Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS) has expressed shock and grief over the sudden demise of the deceased. While conveying their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, KCSDS members have prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased. The members visited the bereaved family to express solidarity with their colleague Z. G Mohammad and other members of the bereaved family.
