Chairman LC reviews stock, supply position in Ladakh region

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 05: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali, today reviewed stock and supply position of essentials in Ladakh region here at a meeting of concerned functionaries.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary, FCS&CA Dr. Abdul Rashid, Director FCS&CA Kashmir, Mohammad Qasim Wani, MD, JKSRTC, Dr. Manmohan Singh, General Manager, FCI, Jammu Pradeep Kumar Behrua, Chief Marketing Manager, Hindustan Petroleum, Farooq Hussain Shah, Senior Manager, IOCL, Afaq Majid Lone, Assistant Director, FCS&CA Kargil, Haji Nisar Hussain, Assistant Director, FCS&CA, Leh, Ruth Mary and Manager, FCI, Jammu Abhishek Duggal.

The meeting discussed the status of Bottling Plant of Hindustan Petroleum at Kargil, stock position of the Gas stored by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and food grains by the Department of FCS&CA at Kargil, release of funds for carriage, Pony Carriage Contractors, wages of Hamals/Casual Labourers and regularization of Casual Labourers.

Regarding Bottling Plant, the representative from HPCL apprised that the technical survey has been completed and approval from the Chairman HPCL and Functional Director is awaited.

About the stock position of the essential commodities like LPG, Kerosene and Food grains it was stated that enough stocks are available which will suffice till the month of May 2019.

The meeting was further apprised that funds for Pony Carriage Contractors and wages of Hamals have also been released by the Directorate of FCS&CA Kashmir.
