JAMMU, FEBRUARY 04: Secretary Tourism, Rigzian Sampheal, today had a tour of General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu and Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu to review the arrangements being made for ensuing “Jammu Mahotsav-2019” being organized by the Department of Tourism from 8th to 10th February, 2019 at Jammu, R.S.Pura, Katra, Samba and Mansar.
The event would showcase the cultural legacy of Jammu and Kashmir besides giving a fillip to tourism industry which is a tribute to the ethno-cultural diversity as well as unity of various regions within Jammu.
He asked the Director Tourism, who accompanied him during the visit, to ensure that all the arrangements are put in place well before the inauguration of the Jammu Mahotsav-2019. He also instructed that proper security, traffic, sanitation, medical, fire, water, uninterrupted power and other connected arrangements are ensured for the convenience of the tourists/visitors.
Director Tourism, Jammu Om Prakash Bhagat accompanied Secretary Tourism during the site inspections.
