GANDERBAL, MARCH 06: Maiden laparoscopic surgery was today performed at Trauma Hospital, Kangan.
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy was performed on a 30-year-old female patient by the surgical unit of the hospital. The operative team under the supervision and logistical support from Hospital Administrator included Dr Feroze Khan, Consultant Surgeon, Dr Abid Sofi, Dr Arshiya, Dr Faheem (Anaesthetists), Farooq Ahmad Rather, Sheikh Gowhar, Sheikh Hilal, Showket Magray, Mohammad Yaqoob, Amina and Mushtaq Sheikh (OT Staff).
Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman has complimented the Hospital Administrator Dr Yasmeen Kango and the operative team for achieving the feat.
