Srinagar, January 26:On the eve of republic day two Jaish militants were killed after a gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in Khanmoh area of Pampore in outskirts of Srinagar district early morning on Saturday.

A senior police officer told GNS that two militants have been killed however their identification is yet to be and we are sanitizing the area so it will take sometime.

The officer furthee said that they belonged to Jaish outfit and where on mission to Sabotage republic day. Two AK- 47s and lot of ammunition has been recovered from them, the officer said.(GNS)
