Rana said that future holds a big promise for children, given the vistas of opportunities available to them in the most competitive world. He referred to the expansion of education and said that best available schools are now at their doorsteps, which is an added incentive for children to have quality education. “Now the children of even remote and rural areas have not to walk or travel long distances in pursuit of education, as not only basic level schools but institutes of higher learning are in their close vicinities”, he added.

The Provincial President stressed the need for creating an atmosphere wherein young people flourish in a healthy academic and competitive environment and grow as responsible and emancipated citizens of the future. In this context, he referred to the useful role of teachers in shaping young minds on positive note and getting them out of the negative influences. “The parents will have to cooperate and supplement these efforts”, he maintained.

He urged the school management to maintain pace with modern trends in the field of education so that students find themselves in a good stead to face the most competitive age with much more confidence and vigour. He also complimented the management for striving hard to impart quality education to the students of this area.

Earlier, the Principal of the New Diamond Public School, Kewal Singh presented annual report, highlighting various achievements and academic odyssey of students with distinction. He said the school has been endeavouring to give its best to the students in all spheres of academic and extra-curricular activities.

Rana complimented the students for presenting scintillating cultural programme depicting various facets of the State’s pluralistic ethos and achieving distinction in academics and sports activities. He wished success to students in their future endeavours. He also hailed the faculty members for imparting quality education.
